Elevate Your at Home Holiday Style

I was looking back at what I wrote last year for the holidays. At times it seems like so much more than a year ago doesn’t it? We had not had a holiday work party to attend for a while so it was fun to put different looks together. In that post I asked readers to choose which one they thought I wore to the party. Last year I went with a velvet jumpsuit. This year the party is canceled. I know many of you are in the same boat. It is stressful for many women to figure out what to wear to a holiday work party; they are likely relieved to have a break from holiday functions. But I like to dress up and put things together. I’m disappointed about not having that to look forward to!

So it’s on to the Living Room. It’s been a funny meme going around social media right before Thanksgiving.

That being said, let’s have some fun this year dressing for the living room and let’s glam it up a bit! The next few posts I’ll be featuring different outfits I’ve put together that are casual with a bit of sparkle. I’m also going to show some before/afters with outfits with and without accessories and taking you my thought process of accessorizing. I’m still going to have fun with it even if I don’t have any place to go for the holidays. I hope you will enjoy these ideas and it will motivate you to create some of your own holiday sparkle at home. You can’t go wrong with velvet. In fact I’ve chosen two different velvet tops. They are still comfortable and look great on a family photo. And hey, why not wear a heel especially for a photo and then switch to slippers!

Youthful Eye Concentrate is another Door buster and it is $23.99. Unheard of for this quality product!!

I also created some jewelry combinations. So often I am asked how to put different things together. Here are two combinations featuring a necklace, earrings and bracelet that will go with anything! They are also great gift ideas and would fit a wide variety of tastes. These prices do NOT reflect the 30% that will be taken off at check out through November 30th at midnight PST!

Stella & Dot

You will also receive this beautiful necklace with a gift with a $75 purchase.

I wear this combination all the time. Sometimes I put the delicate renegade piece as the first layer with the star in the middle.

Mini Star Struck Necklace//Delicate Renegade//Star Struck Pendant all 30% off by Stella & Dot

The CHAIN JEWEL HOOPS are one of the Cyber Monday Door Buster specials and they are on on sale for $21!! I don’t know how long they will last so if you love (and believe me you will) grab these now! They are mid-weight for a statement earring by the way.

The Antique white top by Ce Ce is one I didn’t end up keeping. I’m going to show accessorizing it in a future post, but if you love it I’d check it out now because it was low in stock. This is what happens with holiday tops so you want to act quickly. Here is a similar one I liked as well.

See what I mean about these necklaces? I wear them all the time because they go with everything! I think my IG followers and Facebook group members may have had enough of seeing this combination! Lol

As I said, more ideas coming. What would you like to see? Let me know in the comments.
