Review: Quince Luxury Items for Less

Last year I did a quick mention of Quince here on the blog. I also did an informal review in a Face book Live video. This year I decided to take it to a different level and created a video for my You Tube channel giving my opinions of several of the items I had ordered. This is not a sponsored post. I was not gifted any items to review. These opinions are my own. I also do not have an affiliate link with Quince, but when you place your first order, you will receive $20 off. Perhaps you’ve seen ads for Quince come through your Facebook or Instagram feed. There are several of the same bloggers, or stylists who you will see frequently. Almost everyone I talked to had heard of it so they are doing a great job with brand recognition. However, most had not actually ordered. Most women questioned the quality. Are these prices too good to be true? I was determined to check it out.

Luxury items like cashmere, silk, down and leather are typically very high priced. These are also fabrics that typically stand the test of time, so women are more inclined to pay a premium price. But who doesn’t want to get quality for a lower price?

The biggest question for any online purchase is usually sizing. While things ran smaller on me, I’m very quick to always add that it depends on body type and where you carry weight. I can’t stress that enough.

The VIDEO covers cashmere, silk and down and leather bags. I only scratched the surface! There are so many great options on the site–everything from clothing, to jewelry to bedding! Here is a SWEATER QUIZ for you to help.

I think I am most impressed with the cashmere at $50. This is last season’s photo I shared for a simple holiday outfit.

The washable silk blouse is the favorite piece that I kept.

Since I created the video, there are a couple more things to note. The quality of the leather bags is unbelievable for the price. $89 and $129 for the cross body bags shown below. This post is not intended to point out the differences between designer handbags and copies. I just want to emphasize that the Quince bags are genuine leather. To me it’s all about size, quality of materials and function versus a name on the bag. But there are many different perspectives on this topic!

What about pants? As I mention in the video, about the only thing Quince doesn’t have on the site is denim, but the ponte knit pants get such great reviews. I have one client who ordered and I’ll be trying some myself and will update this post when I do.

Over to you. I’d love to hear if you order something. Adding a comment helps all my readers and I always welcome that. Thank you for being here and for reading!
