A Look at J. Crew Cyber Specials

I definitely shop J. Crew occasionally but not regularly. I’m not sure why. I think sometime we get in a habit of buying at the same stores if it works. I think it can often be about fit. Overall J. Crew fits smaller. Since I’m pretty much a size Medium or Large in everything perhaps that is why. I don’t really care about the number on a tag, but things were often short or just not a great fit. I have tried to shop J Crew on Black Friday for several years, and by that day things I want are sold out in my size.

This year was different. J Crew was offering great discounts most of November. And I actually found a number of great pieces that work. In fact I could have spent hundreds of dollars I found so many possibilities. And I found something that runs really generous. (I’m wearing a small) It’s referred to as a sweater coat. I have linked it in the widget below along with a bunch of mark downs. I like the silhouette and the fabric lays nicely and overall it’s a flattering piece.

And of course, I don’t have anyplace to go to wear this outfit in it’s entirety. I was playing around with some holiday looks and these are the jeans and shoes I bought last year. But the belt is new. It’s from Cabi and it’s a good one!

I’ve wanted the Cocoon Coat for years and I finally tried it. It’s available in bright colors and neutrals. Not sure if it will be a keeper, but I’ll report back. The Lodge coat is also a popular one I’ve considered. The code right now gets you 50% off. It could go lower, but honestly I wouldn’t delay.

J Crew is always known for their brightly colored Cashmere sweaters. Call me crazy, but I’m alway drawn to those pretty stacks of sweaters in a store. Not into cashmere? There are merino wool, cotton and even a cotton cashmere.

Many women love the extended sizes and lengths that J. Crew offers. Is J. Crew one of your “Go-to” stores? Enjoy browsing through the widget. Remember to click on the photo to see more options for colors because often it chooses the neutral colors when I’m creating these.
