With Labor Day weekend I thought it was appropriate to repeat a topic that women still ask me about. Can I wear white denim after Labor Day? The answer is a resounding YES. Now, I know we are not going as many places these days, but I encourage you to get out your white denim and wear it a few times in September–even if you are at home. It’s fun and maybe even challenging to try and come up with an idea to bring in fall colors.
Two years ago I wrote this post, and I still like so many aspects of what I put together then so take a peek and refresh your memory of how I incorporated some fall colors! Then, I brought myself down memory lane looking at a post I had written in 2011 again on white denim. It is somewhat humorous to look at! Off topic, but some observations in that post with pictures from 9 and 10 years ago.
- I was still wearing eye liner on my lower lid. (LOL!)
- Our cell phone photos were poor quality photos back then, I had to do the mirror selfies with my small digital camera–again not the quality. The graduation photo was done with my Canon Rebel digital which took such great photos. It’s hard to believe how far cell phones have come in just under a decade!
- I referred to “dripping in Stella & Dot jewelry” and I was! And now I’m an ambassador for the line.
I wanted to show a new way I’ll wear white in September–maybe October. (depending on when the rain hits)
