Every so often I like to follow up on previous posts and let you know about new things I’ve learned from the  products I’ve featured in the past.

First: Allbirds. I wrote a detailed post in the spring. wore mine all summer. I also tried another pair I decided were too summery and they went back. Return policy: TOP NOTCH! Did you purchase any?

Recently my sister told me about a new line that is WATERPROOF called Mizzle. I like this Runner Up style because they remind me of my ECCO shoes I’m living in lately. (keep reading)  And If you are local there is an All Birds store near the University of Washington in Seattle. You may want to check it out if you are up there.

ECCO: To remind you, I featured these last spring. I liked this look in the spring and then put them away for summer. Now they’ve been the perfect option for fall before getting out the boots. I just LOVE them. I admit, I never thought I’d be so partial to this “sneaker thing”. It’s an acquired taste I think so I encourage you to try a higher cut sneaker (I’m not sure I’m ready to call them high tops) and rotate these into your bootie collection!

Wit and Wisdom

When this Nordstrom label entered stores in about 2011 it was just mediocre. How it has expanded and improved. I featured the shorts, but didn’t have the chance to discuss the cropped pants I wore all summer. I had them in 3 colors. And you may know from reading that 2-3 is probably my limit when it comes to buying something in every color. It has to be good and they are!

–They AB-solution waistband is extremely flattering and comfortable.

–Take a peek and notice the affordable pricing! I tried these gray/black jeans in the store and loved them.

Note theses ponte knit pants are definitely “legging like.” I sized up, so they weren’t quite so fitted on my legs and added a Hipsi belt and they were perfect. Below–two different looks just in case you can’t do the sneaker look!

Jewelry: Stella & Dot

Sweater is last year’s Cabi and could be available at the outlet store. Here is a similar style.
