If you are new here, you might be thinking… “Does she really post every day? How much can one write about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?” I write every day for about a week during the sale and then just a few times a month.
I typically tell my clients that I would bypass most tops at the sale and put your dollars elsewhere. However, if you need tops then it’s worth taking a look. As I’ve discussed before, tops have some extreme styles lately with fussier details and a lot of puffed sleeves. I thought Vince Camuto did a nice job with some tops that could be worn with denim for a weekend night out or could be that typical “wear to work” top. When I saw all the bright colors, I wondered if they had Zoom calls in mind. These solid color, satiny tops would be beautiful on the screen! These are eye catching but if this isn’t you thing, there are others to look at in the widget.
SWEATERS
Here are a few of my favorites at several different price points. Madewell (size down at least one or two sizes. I am wearing a small) Gibson (very soft and comfortable!) and Vince (I’ve never splurged on one of these. This may be the one.) More choices are on the way. After I finish writing about all the top categories I’ll show you some things in ordered and what I’ll be keeping/returning via video!
