Fashion for the Holidays

It’s the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year”… In addition to all the numerous things that accompany the holidays, you may have to think about What to Wear for an office party or Family holiday event.

In early November I was able to help the editor of Snapshot magazine put together looks for her Holiday issue. I found clothes and accessories at various stores for our models to wear as thy were photographed by a group of local photographers. I started out first thing in the morning, and by the time I met up with my husband early evening he was suprised that I was wearing out. His comment: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you hit your max when it comes to shopping!” It had been a long day, but I didn’t have to try on ONE thing. It was just a day of pulling different looks together; I was in my element. While you’re at Snapshot, be sure and check out the November issue/Makeover contest. You still have time this month to submit an entry.

Recently I was asked to write a guest post for another blog called I-lash Girls. I encourage you to check out Peaceful Shopping Tips which is an article that highlights their word of the month: PEACE. It is a different twist on Holiday Looks. (There is a photo of a great cardigan from Kohl’s.) I believe you will love this blog written FOR women BY two women I really admire. Enjoy!

SHOPPING TIP UDPATE: Sequin sweater photographed on both sites is now reduced at Nordstrom (appears to be in-store only) They also have beautiful Halogen cardigans without embellishment in a variety of colors for 37.9o. Note: The Halogen sweaters also available in plus sizes.

Target  has a great cardigan by Merona for 19.99. Just throw this in your cart with the wrapping paper/tape and other essentials from Target. Cardigans are big this season. Be sure and follow Karen’s FIT TIP for wearing so they show your shape. I love purchasing holiday tops that can be worn for several years. Do you have one piece that you love pulling out every year?
